New Website for Ad Patina leads to a 56% Improvement in Conversion Rate

Nick Federowicz, the founder of Ad Patina, sources the best original advertisements from vintage magazines, frames, and sells them as art. Many of these magazine ads come from the mid-century golden era of advertising, while some are more modern. Pretty cool, right? Ad Patina has been featured in the New York Times, Hodinkee, and Gear Patrol. Ad Patina came to Kreativa Group to reimagine and evolve its website, from a static one to a fully formed ecommerce solution.

As Ad Patina did not want to stray too far from the old website's design, we evolved and modernized the design, building in UI/UX best practices, and focused on adding and improving functionality. We moved platforms, from Squarespace to Shopify, an ecommerce first platform. We added several dozen new features - the most most obvious is ecommerce functionality, a mega menu for easier user navigation, breadcrumbs, filters and sort, variant swatches, PDP, mobile optimized, SEO optimized out of the box, and also included CRO best practices from launch.

The final website is a highly evolved and modernized website from the original that incorporates the latest and best UI/UX practices, and the new capabilities for users to browse, shop, and buy products. As with any website or marketing effort that we're engaged in, the proof is in the good results. In the weeks after launch, Ad Patina's organic search engine traffic immediately grew by 423%, user engagement improved by 16%, and conversion rate increased by 56%.
